Based on seven core values, the Irene Wortham Center has been dedicated to providing assistance to Western North Carolina children and adults facing socioeconomic and/or developmental challenges for the last 50 years. Each year, they host the ‘Irene’s Elves’ program which partners with local businesses and donors to provide children in need with Holiday essentials. We had the distinct privilege of being able to adopt two young children and fulfilling their Christmas wishes. It was a very rewarding experience that our office looks forward to participating in year after year! We want to encourage everyone to get out this year and share your good fortune with those in need.
